Gameplay: Skorgulian

The Cadre is currently on a small island chain on the storm-wracked dead world of Grengold. They have located an ancient Imperial Fists fortress and turned it over to the remnants of the Iron Champions.

They have discovered an abandoned colony on another island and Vindicare MIIVX "Minx" has spent the last three months defeating the numerous electronic security systems, allowing access to the colony's underground hangar.

The hangar contains a small warp-capable vessel of Imperial design, and the underground base has quarters and full facilities (armory, berthing, medical, hygiene, storage, food, communications) for 200 people.

The Cobra-class Destroyer Dauntless is in geosynchronous orbit above the planet.

Your stationary vox-caster receives the following message from the Dauntless.


Sender: Dauntless
Receiver: Inquisitor Victus Atlas
Lord Atlas,
The Dauntless continues to maintain geosynchronous orbit as directed. We have detected no sign of Warp-space translation within the system over the past month. We are anxious to serve and continue to await your command.



The vox-caster crackles out.

I am going over the security systems and data storage units as the message comes online. Tucking a strand of white hair behind my ear, I turn around and yell out, "Victus, the Dauntless is prepared to leave whenever we are ready! What are your orders?"

I request for a permission and a transport vessel to take me to my home planet, the forge world Belacane to aquire resources to rebuild and rearm the fortress for the Iron Champions. Does my Inquisitor apporve of this course of action.

Just so you know, the only two warp-capable ships in-system are the Dauntless and the small courier ship in the underground hangar.

I am going to search the armoury for rare items (specificaly looking for a power knife but other rare items will do.

After grabbing a quick bite from the mess hall, I head to the armory to check things over. I find Ravion there, looking around the racks of weaponry. I lean against the wall and take a bite of the carrot that's left over from my meal. "Eh, what's up doc?"

Respond to Minx "Looks like there isn't anything good in this place."

"I beg to differ!" I take another bite of the carrot and step toward the middle of the armory, sweeping my arms out wide. "Look at all this ammo and firepower! Alright, fine; maybe nothing good for you, but we could outfit a small army with all of this!"
