Rules on Posting Actions Empty Rules on Posting Actions

This section of the forum is for players to post their character's actions. If you are not one of the players, do not post in this forum. You may post in the Out-of-Character Discussion forum related to this campaign instead.

When posting Character Actions involving skill tests, describe your action, then use the following format to describe your roll:

Tech-Use Test (Intelligence 44) +20 (Skill Level) +10 (Electro-Graft Use): 74
d100 Roll: 52 (Success with two additional degrees of success.)

When posting Character Actions during an Encounter (ie. in Initiative order), use the following format:

Free Action: Shout "Take Cover!"

Free Action: Quick Draw Krak Grenade

Half Action: Throw Frag Grenade at nearest Cultist (Ballistic Skill 37) +30 (Surprised Target)
d100 Roll: 84 (Failure with one additional degree of failure.)
d10 directional roll: 6
d10 distance roll: 9

Reaction: Dodging behind pillar to avoid own fumbled grenade (Dodge test Agility 52)
d100 Roll 16 (Success with three additional degrees of success.

Half Action: Half Move behind next pillar (5m movement)

End Turn

Rules on Posting Actions Empty House Rules

Post  Admin Fri Aug 26, 2011 5:15 pm

Furthermore, the following House Rules are in effect:

Full-Half Action Turns:
On your turn , you may take up to three half actions, a full action with your torso and arms, and a half action with your legs, or vice-versa. For example:

Firing Full-Auto (Full Arms) and Half Moving (Half Legs)
Full Moving (Full Legs) and Standard Attack (Half Arms)

Note that actions like Running and Charging take the whole body, so a Charge or Run Action takes up your whole turn for your whole body.

Auto-Fire Spread:
When firing a ranged weapon in fully-automatic mode, you do not score additional hits for additional degrees of success when firing at further than Short Range.

When firing a ranged weapon in semi-automatic mode, you do not score additional hits for additional degrees of success when firing at further than Standard Range.

Fate Points:
This is not a House Rule, but a list of the available benefits for which you can spend Fate Points, since you guys seem to forget everything but re-rolls.

Spend a Fate Point to:
- Re-roll any one Test, regardless of success or failure. This result is final.
- Take an automatic 10 on your Initiative Roll. May declare after seeing the result of your roll.
- Add two extra degrees of success to a test that has already been succeeded.
- Immediately regain lost Wounds (not Critical) equal to 1d5 or your Toughness Bonus.
(Free Action)
- Immediately recover from being Stunned and remove all Fatigue.
(Free Action)
- Re-roll all damage dice to inflict damage to a single target.
- Gain a +10 Bonus to a test, before rolling.

Burn a Fate Point to:
- Survive a situation that would otherwise have killed him (within reason), and recover with no permanent injuries. The character is incapacitated for the duration of his recovery.
- Survive a situation that would otherwise have killed him (within reason), regain 1d5+1 Wounds (not critical damage), and continue to act without penalty. Not that he can still be killed again in the same encounter, however.
- Automatically succeed at any one Test, with degrees of success equal to the relevant characteristic bonus.

Only Human:
No character may gain more than 25 Wounds without thorough explanation and other penalties. (mutations, heavy cybernetic enhancement, geno-therapy.)

I am also interested in what (and where) this d100 button is. If someone could tell me, that would be fantastic!

Rules on Posting Actions Empty D100 Roller

Post  Admin Tue Sep 27, 2011 8:39 pm

There is a function on the website to roll a d100 and have it recorded automatically onto the site. I don't mind if you just roll a d100 on your own and post the result in the same post as your action.
