Roll of 72. Dodge successful against the second attack.

Still scowling, I'm going to half-action aim and pop off a off a shot at the man holding a combat shotgun, aiming at his head.

BS of 57 +10 (half-action aim) + 10 (accurate) + 30 (point blank): total of 107.

Roll of: 04. Ten (10) degrees of success. 4d10+4.

Damage rolls of: 9, 5, 4, 10. Righteous fury, roll of: 35. Confirmed. Additional damage of: 1.

Total damage: 33 damage to the head, pen 9.

Dodge attempt for me on the 13- need a 40: Rolls a 008 for three degrees of success. takes 1 damage from the second hit. (unless my rosarius does something for it.

I raise my bolter and half action aim (+10), Red Dot (+10), close range (+10)= 83 to hit: roll of 21: head shot. damage: Righteous Fury confirmed: 10+9= 19 damage to the head pen 4. as I fire I scream at the top of my lungs "FOR THE EMPEROR!"

The second man ducks aside, and Brad's bolt shell flies astray.

I will hold the meat hammer in one hand and quick draw my knife and charge the nearest guy.

Need 68 (48+20 best quality and charge) roll-50 head hit

Damage 1d5+6 pen 2 roll-6 total-9 damage

You slice a gash across his forehead, and his hood falls back in tatters to reveal a young man, maybe twenty or twenty-five, with blood running down his face. He levels his pistol and fires again, hitting Kyle in the right leg for 10 Impact Pen 0.

The second man begins backing up, still firing at Brad, hitting him once in the torso for 7 Impact Pen 0.

One tech-preist continues to run towards the door, the other raises his pistol towards the catwalk, but fumbles and drops the weapon over the edge.

The other men, carrying the electronics, dash out of sight back up the passageway towards the exit.

Servitors lumber towards the exits as alarms continue to sound.

I am actually going to jump from our catwalk down to the catwalk that the tech-priest who had just dropped the bolt pistol is on. While I am in the air, I'm going to pull off a shot at his left leg.

Acrobatics: 62 + 20 (Acrobatics+20) + 20 (Unnatural Agility x2): total: 102

Roll of: 73. I'm going to re-roll using the Temple Assassin Trait. Re-roll of: 10. Nine (9) degrees of success.

Shooting: BS 57 - 30 (Flying through the air), +10 for each two (2) degrees of success on previous Acrobatics test (+40) Total: 67 to hit. Roll of: 07. Hit.

Damage: 2d10 + 4. Damage rolls: 8 and 5. 13 + 4 comes to a total of 17 damage, Pen 9 to the left leg.

Woah woah woah. Hold on. First of all, you max out at 95, any bonuses beyond that are lost, since 96 and up is an auto-failure. That's eight degrees of success.

Second of all, the +10 for every two degrees only adds up until the penalty is removed. It makes no sense to shoot BETTER flying through the air than firmly planted on the ground. I might not have explained that clearly originally.

Doesn't change the result, but keep it in mind next time.

The Techpriest crumples to the ground as his injured leg gives way.

(Alright, I think I understand now. Thanks. I'll try to not forget that in the future.....But I don't get bonus degrees even though my totals [at least for Agility] are over 100?)

I don't quite remember how to do this, but I am going to let go of my bolter and engage the man in front of me in a grapple. (this is the guy I hope we can keep alive btw guys.)
