Alternate Inner Sphere Timeline

All events prior to 3026 occur as usual in this timeline.


- December 12th.
The 1st Kearny Regiment of the Northwind Highlanders, under contract to the Capellan Confederation, raid the Canopian planet of Early Dawn. Discovering massive military storehouses protected by the newly-formed 2nd Canopian Cuirassiers, they destroy the stockpiles, but are trapped on-planet by the arrival of the 1st Canopian Highlanders.

- December 23rd.
The Northwind and Canopian Highlanders engaged on Early Dawn call a three-day truce for Christmas.

- December 25th.
The 1st St. Ives Lancers arrive at a pirate point barely five hours from Early Dawn, assaulting the Canopian Highlanders early Christmas Day, despite the protests of the 1st Kearny.




- January 3rd.
The 1st Kearny Regiment, activating the rest and refit clause of their contract, leave Early Dawn and return to bases in the Capellan Confederation.

- January 18th.
The mercenary unit Jace's Aces abducts Dollie Follansbee, the top aerospace engineer in Andurien Aerotech, from Andurien in a raid. The only fatality in the raid is Wing Commander Jace Abdel herself, who crashed in her stolen Star League-era aerospace fighter as the Aces withdraw. The Aces' employer is not known.

- January 24th.
Capellan espionage efforts allow Achernar Battlemechs to begin production of the ENF-4R Enforcer, a design previously built exclusively by the Federated Suns.

- January 25th.
Unknown raiders land on the Capellan border world of Tsingtao, destroying several garrisons.

- January 26th.
The 1st St. Ives Lancers and the mercenary outfit "The Frog of War" break contact with Canopian forces and begin to withdraw from Early Dawn.

-January 27th.
General Ny Hon Sa, of the Sarna Commonality Reserves, is killed by bandit forces on Tsingtao as they flee to their dropships. Two bandit 'Mechs are captured, and one destroyed, for the loss of six Capellan machines.

-February 14th.
Unidentified Battlemechs strike the NAIS campus in District City on Kathil, razing it to the ground. The arsons wait for campus students to evacuate before firing, and there are no fatalities in the attack.

-March 1st.
A battalion of the 2nd Sword of Light attacks Chara III. Defenders include the Kell Hounds and the 6th of October, both mercenary forces. The 2nd Sword is ambushed just outside the range of their grounded dropships, and suffer heavy casualties before retreating off world. Both defending units suffer minor damage, with no significant casualties.

-March 17th
Battlemechs sporting the same flame camouflage as the ones that struck the NAIS campus on Kathil waylay a convoy carrying artefacts from a NAIS archaeological dig on Fortymile. Once again, no lives are lost.

-May 11th
The Jumpship Meridian suffers a helium tank failure over Formalhaut, and its dropships are distributed to other Lyran and Federated Suns jumpships. The cause of the failure is unknown, but suspected to be caused by Kuritan sabotage.

-May 25th
The Kell Hounds Mercenary Battalion fends off a vicious assassination attempt by Kuritan commandos, then flees Chara III as more Kuritan dropships approach.

-May 26th
The Kell Hounds and 6th of October rescue Archon-Designate Melissa Arthur Steiner from the Genyosha in the asteroid mines of Styx. Lieutenant-Colonel Kell dies of his wounds after the battle.

-June 19th
The Gray Death Legion breaches oxygen domes protecting several cities on Sirius V, causing more than twelve million deaths. The Legion then flees.

-September 1st
The AFFS commences Operation Galahad II. The LCAF commences Operation Thor.

-November 14th
The 2nd Royal Guards defeat the 3rd Ceti Hussars in the Alliance Games on Thorin.

- March 24th
Battlemechs the Free Worlds League, Capellan Confederation, and the 6th of October land on Helm and destroy the Gray Death Legion's base in Durandel.
